Unsettled

I worked with Harper Collins to design and illustrate the cover and interior art for Reem Faruqi’s debut Middle Grade book; ’Unsettled’. Using a bright, bold yet warm colour palette, I wanted to create a cover that encapsulated the vibrancy of Pakistani culture whilst also including the main character, Nurah’s joy of swimming. I Incorporated henna designs throughout the artwork as this is a prevalent cultural practise in Pakistan which seamlessly brought the illustrations together.
